About Gutbucket Records

Gutbucket is a jazz record label based in Oakland, established in 2015. The aim is to record and support local talent, while committing to a unique, yet authentic, hard bop sound. Because of this, all of Gutbuckets releases with be direct from analogue tape to lacquer master, vinyl pressings. We will also be hands-on involved in local events and promotions. Gutbucket is a collaboration of much local talent, but is mainly a label run by and for local musicians.
